Dear Stewart,
6
21st April, 1910.
I return the telegram from your brother which
I have
you sent me in your letter of the 19th inst.
made enquiries about the matter, and I fear it is in-
no ssible for us to interfere with the discretion of the
Colonial Jovernment, especially when our doing so would
apparently result in a substantial financial loss whien
the Government at tue present time can ill afford.

views as to the nroner disposal of this land locally
unon the Goverment or the Legislature of the Colony.
Yours sincerely,
I
